In this episode, Dr. True looks at the liturgical tradition, and specifically their sacrament of confirmation. What many may not know is the way this ceremony represents a Pentecostal experience. Dr. True will share footage from Dr. Chris E. W. Green, a Pentecostal theologian and bishop of the Diocese of Saint Anthony. He will also read an article by Catholic theologian Marek Kluz on confirmation in the thought of Pope Benedict. In all of this, we will see the strong connections between confirmation and an empowering, sanctifying experience of the Holy Spirit.
