Shannon spent a lifetime living on the edge of adventure and moving from one thing to another with several accomplishments. Busy, busy, busy! From the outside, it appeared as if she had it all! She lived in great cities with successful jobs, has a beautiful family, a beautiful house, great friends, very fit and athletic, traveled and studied to exotic places, etc. When a series of events rocked her world, she realized she was dying a slow death, and she had a choice to live or die. For 36+ years, her best friend was an unkind friend. Its name could be as simple as addiction or to be more specific perfectionism or bulimia. They were masks that overpowered her true self and who she truly was. She asked herself the bigger question, "How do I rid myself of this beast inside. What am I here to do? Who am I? What is my purpose?" Join me and Shannon as she shares how she was able to peel back the layers of limiting beliefs that held her captive and how she freed herself from bulimia, perfectionism, and addiction. Her breakthrough methods now help women create truth, freedom, and connection in their lives by loving themselves, by being human, and by showing up every day to know your life is worth living. Shannon is a transformation leader dedicated to helping women recovering from addiction find truth, freedom, and connection by aligning mental and physical self-care so they can own their life. She is a Certified Professional Life Coach, and Certified Swim Coach. She is the founder of OYL (Own Your Life) and is launching a line of exercise products encouraging others to take care of their bodies to take care of their souls.
