It's emerged that many residents in north Leitrim have been hit with persistent power outages regardless of recent storms.

Monday night's public meeting in Killargue heard stories of persistent power cuts, particularly in the Kiltyclogher.

One of those in attendance, Declan Sweeney spoke on behalf of 14 houses who have been affected by outages in the last twelve months.
