On this episode of the Hayek Program Podcast, Richard Ebeling joins Peter Boettke to discuss his work on the lost papers of Ludwig von Mises. Ebeling recounts the history of Mises's escape from the Nazi expansion into Europe, the confiscation of his papers, and how Ebeling's later discovery of the papers in Russia led to the creation of the three volume series, "The Selected Works of Ludwig von Mises." Additionally, Boettke and Ebeling discuss the continuing relevance of Mises's critiques of socialism and how the work of Eugen von Böhm-Bawerk shaped his thinking.
