Today:  We continue to look at the Kel Tec Sub2k trying to work around it’s quarks and shortcomings to make it keep up as an actual self defense weapon.

I went to the range and worked groups at 25 yards with it.  Trying to find out if my improvised quick throw mount on the optic would return to zero or close enough.

In reality I would like something that was rock solid that I never had to worry about, but that isn’t freezable with something that is being removed and put back. 

So is it repeatable enough to be within your comfort zone?

OUTLINE:

Took a Range Trip with the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 to test ammo and the optic

What I round:

• No Real shirt in zero unless you put the optic on the wrong spot of the rail
• Last round in the mag effects accuracy
• Liked 147 gr bullets over 115 gr bullets
• 2 inch groups where the normal for 147gr HST by Federal
• Less then that as a zero shift
• Don’t put the optic on the wrong grove
