Today is Part One of the “Prayers of the Beloved” that still settles well inside of our overall theme this Fall of enduring in a withering world! We’ve been building on the foundation of drawing near to the One who endures forever and I’d love for us to come around what it looks like to communicate in both awe and intimacy, with the Lord. We will talk about the boldness of the Beloved, that our confidence in His presence is built out from our identity as His children! Part One will lay a foundation for us in what it looks like to marry the head and the heart in prayer as well as experience the wonder and the “with-ness” (I just made that word up!) of our Father! We will explore what it looks like to “pray without ceasing” - maybe it’s a little more practical for our mundane than we’d expect! Grateful to dive in and LEARN more about prayer along with you! Episode 64 - Prayers of the Beloved

The Glorious in the Mundane, inspires listeners to fully embrace what God has placed right in front of them, knowing that He can meet them anytime and anywhere. As it turns out, the seemingly small things in life are sometimes the most significant of all.

Today we are celebrating the release of another EP called “Knees to the Earth,” which is the next three songs from the "Live from Keeper's Branch" album  that we are unfolding this spring! Not only are these songs so sacred to us, many of them have very sacred stories behind them and today’s song emphasis, “Knees to the Earth,” is definitely one of those kind of stories! You don’t want to miss it!  And you know me, it’s never just about the song or its story, but it’s always about the truth that’s set in them! Today we’ll keep coming around what it looks like to bloom where we are planted, even when it’s hidden and hard! Season 9 Episode 5 // Knees to the Earth

Okay so…somehow this episode got really personal! Did I actually just reveal what I want my “Grandma” name to be, someday?  Or, maybe it feels personal because this song, “Lord, I Need You”, that we’ll come around today, is very dear to me! I’ll talk about being a part of writing it around a table of dear friends, who have been more like brothers to me. But, I’ll also give you some insight into being the only woman at that table, and in that community, for a very long time. It was both a privilege and a pruning ground that God used to grow me as a woman, songwriter and leader.  I’ll also begin a narrative that I’ll carry throughout some of the other episodes this spring, about the very beginnings of God calling me to songwriting and worship leading. Rather than doors flying open and me, running with momentum, it was more a still—even sometimes silent and hidden—beginning. It was more that God had given me a deposit and a promise of something that was to come. But, of course, the way in which He’d have me carry that out, was to wait on Him to unfold the story in the way that only He could! I’ll talk to you soon!  Listen to 'You Revive Me'

Season 9 Episode 4 // Lord I Need You

I am so excited to continue this spring series, coming around my new EP,  “You Revive Me”, available everywhere you listen to music! Y’all know me by now, that these songs are simply a diving board for us to plunge into the deep together! Into the glorious things of God…right in the middle of our mundane! Today we will do just that, as we come around the beautiful offering that each of us have to bring, in worship of our King. In each episode, we’re taking the time to put into practice the truth we’re remembering together. 

Today we’ll ask God to help us visualize— and therefore, hopefully value— the offering that our lives and hearts truly are to Him!

Season 9 Episode 3 // The Heart of Worship

It has been so beautiful to get to release some new, yet familiar—even tried and true songs—in this season! One of those is the song, “Breathe” paired with another beloved song, “Let it Be Jesus.” 

Today, I’ll take you back to the seasons I was in when I first began to sing and lead both of these beautiful songs. They were very significant seasons in my life and in my spiritual formation, and to merge them together on this new album is such a joy. It’s amazing how songs can truly become guideposts and guardrails in our journey, even a gateway to surrendering more of our heart to God’s heart! 

We’ll kind of walk through that gateway together, using these two songs, and talk about how God wants these proclamations we sing to become realities in our hearts and lives. “God, I breathe Your Name above everything,” is more than just a beautiful lyric! It’s a posture of resolve and rest, and a deep trust that everything we need is found in Jesus.

Season 9 Episode 2 // Breathe Your Name

Today we will kick off a spring series in celebration of NEW (but familiar!) music—my EP “You Revive Me”, releases THIS WEEK wherever you listen to music! 

I’ve named today’s episode “Up ‘Till Now”, because this album (that will continue to unfold throughout the spring) feels like an Ebenezer moment, to stop and say, “Up ‘till now, the Lord has been our help!” He has been so faithful, so kind and true, even through some of the hardest seasons in life.

Also, as promised, today I will share with you what I wrote and read at my precious Mama’s celebration of life! I hope that it will help remind you of your own legacy that you are leaving, or perhaps even help define it!
