President Biden is expected to visit Florida today after the death toll from Hurricane Ian rose to at least 108. But amid the rubble and despair, there are stories of immense generosity and kindness. In Moscow this morning, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the papers annexing four provinces in eastern Ukraine, in violation of international law. While he was doing that, Ukraine's army was pushing back Russian forces and regaining control of some of that same territory. Former President Trump wants the Supreme Court to weigh in on the investigation into classified documents seized by the FBI at Mar-a-Lago. Republicans, including former President Trump, are throwing their full support behind Georgia senate candidate Herschel Walker, despite a report in The Daily Beast claiming he paid for a girlfriend's abortion in 2009. Walker denies all that, and he prayed yesterday with a supportive crowd at a surprise campaign event, as he remains locked in a very close race with Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock. In an exclusive interview, Brittney Griner's wife tells us she is "terrified" about the WNBA superstar's fate. President Biden is telling his administration to engage with the Russian Government at all levels, to bring Griner home immediately. Aaron Judge made baseball history last night. The New York Yankees outfielder set a new American League record and some argue it's really a Major League Baseball record, too.
