Just before 3:00 pm on March 31st, the first United Express flight to use the new passenger terminal landed at Prescott Regional Airport. Shortly after the passengers deplaned, collected their luggage, and passed through the terminal, Dr. Robin Sobotta, Mayor Greg Mengarelli, and other dignitaries celebrated the terminal's ribbon-cutting declaring the building to be open for business. The new 18,000 square-foot terminal will provide better passenger queuing space, more airline operating space, updated security processing for faster and more efficient screening, better facilities, and more.
