The 1865 Forest Ramble is part of the Fan Hub Network - where fans come first.

Forest got their 2021 off to the best possible start by picking up a crucial 1-0 victory at Preston North End. Despite the home side hitting the bar twice, Forest put in a strong team display to return from Deepdale with all three points, courtesy of Lewis Grabban's second half penalty after Cafu's shot was blocked by a Preston hand. 

The win moves the Reds three points clear of the Championship drop zone and extends their unbeaten run to five matches. Manager Chris Hughton was understandably delighted with the result and in our match report, we reflect on a big three points gained on the road.
