We learned a lot about the Word of Wisdom when reviewing President Thomas S. Monson’s talk “Principles and Promises.” The talk itself isn’t even five minutes long, but President Monson’s teachings gave us more than enough to talk about. We discuss how to explain the Word of Wisdom to non-members, concerns members have over the use of legalized marijuana, and how in the world we get by in life without coffee. Reflecting on how we’ve seen the blessings of the Word of Wisdom in our lives was a great experience, and we hope you can gain as much from this discussion as we did!
