If you've been checking out the Riff's lately, you may have noticed that Mike Bondurant has been joining me a bunch of times. He is from the INLP center where I've decided to take a bunch of classes in neurolinguistics programming, which is a type of coaching psychology that's been around for quite a while. I think it's super cool, you could check it out, check out his school there.

But one of the things that has come to my attention in doing this program is this really cool conversation that I think belongs right at the heart of my coaching, about authenticity and I just wanted to chat with you about that today. Many people who have come on the show, many people who have come talk to me about coaching have a very specific conversation and I've talked about it in terms of a nagging sensation. Something isn't right in their life. They don't know what it is, they can't put their finger on it. They know that they want something more but they don't know what that is.

In the midst of taking this school, it came to my attention that there's a very simple way of talking about it and neurolinguistics programming does just that. In the development in our life there are six stages and in those six stages, we move through them one after the next. We of course, at the beginning are basically dealing with food and shelter and clothing, right? Making sure that we have the basic necessities of life.
