This teaching explains how the faith of the early Church was a faith based on the Jewish Israel-centric and Jerusalem-centric hope contained in the Law and Prophets. We are exhorted today to take seriously the full testimony of the Old Testament Scriptures without allegorizing and "spiritualizing" them away. As Gentile believers, our only hope is the fulfillment of the nation and people of Israel in her irrevocable call.
