The first is biological: the trust our ancestors needed to navigate danger and to ensure continuation of the species. It is conditional, shaped by instinctual impulse, and glued to the nervous system's memory of what feels predictable.

The second arises later, a maturity that sparks deep within each of us at some point or another... — a trust not in circumstances, but in Life itself. It is the quiet confidence that everything unfolding is held within something vast and intelligent. Carl Jung described this as a turning point on the natural course of Individuation and coming to Wholeness. Others may recognize this as how we awaken.

This trust does not depend on proof or news or heresay. It is born of remembering a fundamental aspect: awareness itself, Being expressing through a human life.

In this short episode, we explore both forms of trust as part of humanity's long evolution. When we begin to live from this deeper trust, love and expression flow naturally.

It is not the trust of the separate self, but the trust as Wholeness — the living recognition that even confusion or fear are part of the whole, and doorways to deeper love and ever-deepening freedom.
