The annual Holocaust Memorial Day ceremony will take place this coming Thursday at Westpark Cemetery, in Johannesburg from 12:00 Midday. The ceremony pays tribute to the strength and resilience of the Jewish people and all victims and survivors of the horrific Holocaust. This morning we are in conversation with Holocaust survivor, Irene Fainman, who was just 6 years old when she and her family were rounded up by the Nazis in Holland and sent to Westerbork Transit Camp. The year was 1942. Irene will tell her story during the annual Holocaust Commemoration Day ceremony this coming Thursday. But she joins us now in studio to tell us about how she managed to survive the horrendous conditions
