René Kaiser-Riley of Summer Mae Photography is a photographer of nature and animals, a volunteer with the Idaho Humane Society, and Dog Is My CoPilot’s Boise Ambassador. On the Summer Mae Photography Facebook page, you will find numerous albums of rescued dogs and cats flown to Idaho. There is also an album of foster animals looking for their furever home. Dog Is My CoPilot, Inc. (DIMC) has saved thousands of animals’ lives. DIMC was created in 2012 by a doctor in Wyoming and a lawyer in Arizona. Peter Rork, MD and Judy Zimet, Esq. work with a supportive Board to fly animals from areas of the United States where they are not wanted, to areas of the United States where they are in demand. There is no charge to the animal welfare organizations for whom DIMC flies. The planes fly on public donations alone. The organization is a 501(c)3 approved organization based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Idaho Humane Society is the largest and oldest animal welfare organization and veterinary charity in the state. They are a private 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations to provide programs and services that benefit animals in Idaho. The mission of the Idaho Humane Society is to advocate for the welfare and responsible care of animals, protect them from neglect and cruelty, and promote humane education, awareness and compassion.
