Exodus 25:8-9 “Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. Make this tabernacle and all its furnishings exactly like the pattern I will show you."
We are continuing in our preparation for Advent this week by looking at the construction of the Tabernacle! Last week, we began speaking on God's presence in the Old Testament, and we looked at the revealing of God's Shekinah Glory on Mt. Sinai.
Now, we'll be looking at God's instructions to make Him a sanctuary.
The Tabernacle was God's presence on the move, and as the Hebrews moved from place to place before arriving at the Promised Land, the Tabernacle became an opportunity for more than just Moses to experience God's presence. As you may know, the Tabernacle preceded the Temple.
