On September 9th, 1996, Sofia Silva vanished from her home in Spotsylvania Co, Virginia. A month later her body was found in a nearby county. With her suspected killer caught, her town believed that their children were safe; until seven months later when Kristen and Kati Lisk were taken from their front yard. Serial Killer Richard Marc Evonitz eluded the authorities for another five years. Evonitz’s crimes were discovered only when 15 -year old Kara Robinson courageously escaped his abduction. Shelley Shannon

This episode takes us up north to Canada where on November 18th, 1987, 20-year-old Jay Cook and his girlfriend 18-year-old Tanya Van Cuyenborg set out on an overnight road trip that would take them from their hometown of Saanich, British Columbia, Canada, to Seattle, Washington. They had planned on sleeping in the back of their van for the night, then collecting supplies for Jay's family's furnace company, before turning around and heading back home. The couple never arrived to collect the supplies, and when they didn't arrive home the next evening as planned, their families called the police to report the couple missing.
