Marriage can be tough! Especially when we have two people that are waiting to see when their partner is going to mess up.  You may not think this is your marriage, and hopefully, it is not. But the truth is, many of our marriages are consumed with counting rights and wrongs, do's and don'ts, and someone always seems to be "in trouble" in the marriage.  

This is not how we are called to be together in marriage.  This way of thinking is almost like it comes directly from the Old Testament, The Law!  Rules, commandments, laws, while these are important to help guide us in our daily lives, we must be very watchful of not becoming hyper-focused on them.  We may find ourselves waiting to see when our spouse is going to mess up next while not focusing on what we can do better in the marriage.  We start to find ourselves holding our partner almost as a prisoner trying to pay back the debt for every wrongdoing they've ever made.  This is insanity!

We are called to live by grace in our marriage.  In this show, Merrill and Linda tackle this subject and try to give help in getting your marriage to be more grace-filled rather than law-driven.  

At the end of the day, we must all realize that without the grace provided us by Jesus Christ, we are doomed.  Let's do everything we can to keep our marriages from being doomed.  Let's cover the marriage with grace!
