Ron Connley is a true Australian bushman. Born and raised in the shadow of Mount Hotham in Victoria's High Country, the 84-year-old spent his youth travelling the countryside winning bull-dogging championships and campdrafting titles. But his proudest moment? Taking out the Man from Snowy River title - twice - in his 60s.

He's never strayed from his mountain home for too long, and is still based on his childhood sheep station. But don't let that fool you. Ron has an extraordinarily adventurous spirit and has never let his age dictate what challenges he takes on. Hear host Kay Becker draw some big tales from this even bigger character. Like how he ended his schooling career age 13 with his right hook and the hilarious way he snagged his wife of 57 years.

Our Final conversation for the season is one that needs to be had. Real and raw conversations seem to be the theme of the season, and something that we feel society needs more of. As Brett Pechey opens up, it’s obvious the heartache and despair in his voice about his personal experience with mental health and suicide. We acknowledge how hard this is for Brett to share and for some to hear.
But the hard conversations are always worth having.
They help create awareness, break the cycle and remind us that help and support surrounds us.
