On this episode of the podcast, we spoke with Anderson Khochaiche. Anderson is a recent graduate of FSU’s BFA Acting program. Anderson is a man with a contagiously jolly personality. Our conversation with him touched upon his interest in philosophy - in which he expressed a joy in thinking about life’s deepest questions.

We also talked about Anderson’s relationship with masculinity. He explained that he grew up in an environment that fostered a very traditional idea of masculinity - the kind we’ve all seen before in some way or another - unemotional, and strong-willed to a point that Anderson rarely felt accomplished as an individual unless he had achieved only the highest level of success.

Over time, through his involvement with theater and personal self reflection, Anderson learned to accept and honor his emotions. In his own words, Anderson began to remind himself, “fella, you’re human.” Something that we could all remind ourselves a little more.
