Today's episode was a very emotional one and one that we were so grateful to be able to research and cover.
Today, we recorded an episode about Rachel Hansen, who was just 19 years old when she passed away - 8 days before her 20th birthday. Not only was Rachel an amazing human and a beautiful soul, she was the embodiment of sunshine. She always went out of her way to help people, and was often donating her time and energy to help others in need.
Along with that, her mom and dad, Kim and Todd Hansen, started a dog rescue in her honor named Rachel's Rescue. They have helped home over 200 dogs since they opened and have helped many more with their emotional and mental needs.
