A music documentary that explores the legendary figure behind Ladysmith Black Mambazo, his life's journey and work in building the cultural reservoir that has become world-beloved, winning multiple Grammys in the process. In this episode we got into Mpumi Mbele's journey into filmmaking as well as understanding what it takes to create a documentary that functions at the scale of what Music Is My Life is.
