Julia is studying both Digital Media Production and Political Science at Florida State University. She is also the president of Florida State’s sketch comedy group, Friday Night Live.

Her knowledge of the entertainment industry shed light on how the holiday season affects marketing, and how media and politics directly impact each other, sometimes for the worse.

Julia expressed that critical thinking is inherently hopeful, especially when it comes to a complicated institution like the media. With so many different perspectives and sources, using an analytical view allows you to seriously consider another person’s view and even challenge your own.
