In this minisode, I’m reflecting on my conversation with Tammy Darcy, founder of The Shona Project, and the powerful work she’s doing to help young girls (and now boys too) feel seen, supported and safe.

It brought me back to my own experience of girlhood, confidence, fear and how much of who we become starts in those early relationships. We talk about bullying, belonging, and how trauma, when acknowledged and held, can lead to something incredibly meaningful.
