What does it mean to be safe? And what the heck does it have to do with fertility?
The short answer is - a hell of a lot.
Our bodies are *always* trying to keep us safe. When facing a threat, whether it’s real or perceived, your body will adapt to make sure that your survival is a top priority. That means anything that isn’t absolutely necessary for survival right now becomes a low priority for your body - like your fertility and reproductive health.
So here’s the deal. In order for our bodies to be fertile, we need to send the message from our brain to our body that we are safe. Without that, your body just won’t have the resources to give your reproductive system the attention and priority it needs.
