What a sweet story! Loved the dashes of personal humour throughout.
As I was finishing up a Christmas novel on my Kindle, this book came up as a recommendation. As I know both the author and his sweet daughter through Facebook and some writers groups Dan and I belong to, I found this book even more enjoyable. This story had me smiling from beginning to end. I was ever hopeful that Savvy would indeed get to speak to 'Santa' and that 'Santa' would turn out to be the jolly fellow that all children wish for. I was not disappointed, and from what I gather, neither were Dan or Savvy. This story was heartwarming, funny and classic Dan and Savvy Alatorre. Love reading all these stories about a man and his little girl, navigating the world of parent and child with humour and a sweetness that will make any woman remember fondly her times with her own father. Thank you for sharing yet another part of your lives with your readers.

This is a really sweet and funny read. The first section, about a holiday tradition, feels like a relaxing and hilarious conversation with a good friend. It's the perfect little story to get you smiling and considering the magic of Christmas.

Santa Maybe is a delightful story that reminds me of the magic of Christmas. The author writes in an engaging inviting tone that makes you feel like you're right there in the story with Savvy.
I can so relate to exactly what's going on- Dora and the Bubble Guppies! I really like the fact the author is so expressive and descriptive. A large part of what drew me in, hook, line, and sinker.
Now I'm not so sure about the onion spread, but I'm sure it works for some!
If you're interested in a lighthearted magical tale, this ones for you! Bravo!
Heartwarming and Hilarious
Had me laughing within the first page, I love to share the adventures of this family. It will remind you of your own little mishaps that may have at one point seemed traumatizing but that now you laugh at.
Oh, and I honestly thought my husband was the only guy that still did the abracadabra thing when entering a store, and I don't mean just for the kids, they don't even have to be there!
I love how the stories that are shared are not only honest, but heartwarming and hilarious

I don't care how old you are or how miserable your life. Some early childhood memories of magic moments transend the often brutal realities of adult life. They may be hard to find, though. So let me tell you that this is one of those gems not to be missed. This lovely father/daughter glimpse into a holiday memory is guaranteed to whisk you back to the time when life was simple; fulll of mystery and possibilities. And when a rotund white bearded gentleman that looks like Santa says hello to your very young self, you get tingles you will never forget. Cause that's what Santa does.
