If you keep up to date with sporting developments you may know that it is not uncommon for athletes to encounter financial predicaments. For example, according to America’s most prominent sports magazine, nearly 80% of NFL players go bankrupt or broke after two years following retirement with many NBA players also facing the same situation.   But are kiwi athletes here in New Zealand encountering financial predicaments? Turns out they are or at the least may be.
