In New York City, protests turned violent as pro-Palestinian protesters clashed with the NYPD. The violence led to several arrests as the police attempted to control the chaos. Columbia University, where 100 rioters were arrested yesterday, is extending hybrid classes throughout the end of the semester to protect its students. The New York Post reports that 150 were arrested at NYU, and dozens of arrests took place at Yale University.
