On this episode, I am honoured to be joined by NARM Master Therapist & the host of Transforming Trauma Podcast: Emily Ruth.
I’ve met Emily on my NARM training back in 2021 as she was my training assistant in the NARM training.
We have a heartfelt conversation where we talk about:
- What the NeuroAffectiveRelational Model (NARM) is
- How Emily found NARM and how it transformed her work and way of being
- What is agency and how agency expands your capacity to SEE more things in our lived experiences
- How important is to have awareness and work in the present moment
- Emily’s grief & loss journey, how NARM supported her grief work and how grief can co-exist with joy
- Where I share something deeply personal on how losing a child 18 years ago brough so much fear around aliveness until I decided to process that.
Here are more details about Emily:
A NARM Practitioner &Therapist that has worked as a group facilitator/coach since 2012. She completed a Master of Arts degree in Marriage & Family Therapy with a specialization in Trauma. And she has certifications addressing Complex/Developmental Trauma, Grief & Recovery, Boundaries, and Body Image Resilience.
