In the case of Cassandra and Walker Schwartz, their change in marital status did not express the relationship that remained. As co-parents their job as parents to their young son, Jace, meant that something new emerged. The marriage was over, but the rest still needed to be worked through. When faced with explaining this, there was no word to describe their relationship. Cassandra felt this hesitation when she sought a way to introduce Walker and their relationship into a conversation. In the end, "I don't know what to call you, you're my tartle," says Cassandra. And so, the podcast You're My Tartle began.
