“You live in your 20s and write in your 30s.” Adam Richter is most known for his work as a journalist for The Reading Eagle and his punny tweets. However, Adam has recently added the title “playwright” to his resume and his play, “Second Home: Five Stories of Immigration,” will be brought to life soon. Adam and I sit down on this episode and travel back in time to uncover his journey as a writer, from sketch comedy, walking into a news organization in Seattle to writing for the local paper and writing plays. For anyone who thinks it’s “too late to get started,” Adam’s story is proof that it doesn’t matter when you start, as long as you do.
