In this lesson, we look at God’s ideal for sexuality. The world says that the ideal is “love” while others (including some Christians) say that the ideal is heterosexuality. But from our text, 1 Peter 1:14-19, we see that God’s ideal for our sexuality is holiness: That we are chaste while single and faithful in marriage. This is a hard ideal to live up to, which is why understanding God’s value and care of us is so important.
