In this lesson, we lay the groundwork for the following weeks by establishing what our identity is. The reason this is so important is that our essence (who we are) influences and shapes our ethics (what we do). So we return to Genesis 1:26-28 to explore the image of God. We’ll be focusing on what being made in God’s image means and how it effects what we do, how sin impacted that image, and how Jesus fixes things.
