Mississippi is the poorest state in the US, with the highest percentage of Black people and a history of heinous racial terror. But in the heart of the state capitol, Cooperation Jackson develops Black self-determination by building solidarity economies and cooperatives, developing land into community land trusts, and an eco-socialist framework that has inspired partnership and emulation across the globe.
