Selling the Future: Mastering the Art of Pitching AI Services

In this episode, the DAS crew discussed strategies for pitching AI services, both internally and externally.

  • Understanding objections and hesitancy around AI. Approaching these situations with empathy and meeting people where they are. Being available as a helpful resource when they have questions down the line.
  • Tailoring your pitch and examples to connect with the audience’s specific needs and pain points. Avoiding technical jargon. Making it relevant to their role.
  • Educating rather than overtly selling. Planting seeds and making the ideas their own. Following up when they are ready to move forward.
  • Having a base product or service offering to propose once interest is established. Potentially starting with a pilot program.
  • Leveraging digital platforms like LinkedIn to establish yourself as a subject matter expert over time.
  • Finding quick ways to demonstrate value with simple AI integrations. The Excel analysis example was highlighted.
  • Incorporating AI into existing consulting services versus transitioning fully into an AI consultancy. AI as an additional capability.

    • The key takeaway was ensuring your pitch shows how AI can help clients achieve their goals faster.
