We have looked at genuine Christian character in the beatitudes, the influence of salt and light a Christian should have, and what genuine Christian righteousness looks like. Chapter 6 begins the process of exposing religious hypocrisy in our lives. We shifted into understanding the temptation of our hearts moving away from Christ, and the barrier that anxiety places on our relationship with our heavenly Father.
