Everyone has life defining moments. In 1 kings we see some of Elijah's life defining moments. And from these we can know that God was to meet us when he calls us up on the mountain tops, and when we're hiding for fear of our lives. He meets us in wind, and fire, but also in the silence of a whisper. And he shows up, generation, after generation, after generation!
