This service served as a culmination of 40 Days of Prayer for our congregation. It afforded us the opportunity to worship God through giving thanks for Him and his faithfulness in the life of the church over its more than 200-year history, through expressing our lament, grief, and confession, and through proclaiming our Hope in God for the future. Alongside comments by a number of our elders, Pastor JR & Amy read from Psalm 100, Psalm 102, and Psalm 31. This service also served as a precursor to a pause in our regular worship gatherings as we turn our attention to a whole-congregation study of the book of Acts over the corse of 8 weeks.
