June 6, 2021, marked a milestone in the life of our beloved Rabbi Emeritus Richard Birnholz as he celebrated 50 years in the rabbinate. During Shabbat worship, we honored Rabbi Birnholz and celebrated 50 years of his rabbinate.

Congregation Schaarai Zedek is a Reform Jewish congregation established in 1894. Today, our Temple family is made up of more than 3,000 adults and children spanning four generations. We have been very fortunate to have strong spiritual leadership and an active membership throughout our 100 year history.
