If we didn't have stress, we wouldn't grow. If we resist this growth, we succumb to symptoms of anxiety and depression.

The key to not getting pulled under by stress is by managing the momentum of it. You have to build a set of skills and rewire your brain to flow with stress and use it efficiently to shift your life.

Rich Maloney, author, speaker, founder & CEO of Quality Mind Global, a leading international mental wellness training & licensing business, joins me on this week's episode of We're Talking Shift to give tips on how not to stay in the current of the limiting thoughts that trigger self-doubt which snowballs into anxiety, panic attacks and depression. If we stay in this current, we start doing things to FEED the stress through habituated behavior which keeps our bodies in constant fight or flight mode, coursing with cortisol and leaving you facing chronic fatigue and burnout.

Rich and I talk about ways to:

• Reduce our stress levels

• Refocus our mind to manage emotions

• Become clear as to what stress is and what it isn’t

• Learn keys to becoming stress-free.

The only worry you should be focusing on long term is whether or not you are being true to yourself, your values and the things that fulfill you.
