SIX STRATEGIES for Working Smarter with Buyers
Do you want to know what the single most common complaint Agents have when asked about working with Buyers? Based on my totally informal survey of my students over the last 20+ years here’s what I’ve heard: In reverse order — the 3rd most common complaint is “I hate it when they can’t make up their mind – especially after I’ve busted my butt showing them every possible listing there is that matches their criteria.” The 2nd most common complaint is when you’ve been working tirelessly to help those buyers and then you get that call from them that goes like this — “we’re really really sorry and really do appreciate all the time and effort you put into helping us…but we were driving around last weekend and found the perfect home with exactly what we’ve both been dreaming of and we just couldn’t pass up the deal so we went ahead and wrote it up on the spot…but thanks again for all your help.” OUCH!!
