Special Guest Episode w/ @Addie Yoder
“Being intentional with our time is how we overcome life’s overwhelm.”
I had the pleasure of meeting Addie exactly 2 years ago on this same weekend at a business conference. We were both midwestern moms in the big city of LA pretty much by ourselves. We worked out together, sharing weights (the gym was packed) and had a great time. We stayed in contact and have even gotten our kids together to play even though we live 5 hours apart.
She’s a fun, agriculture advocate mom who loves books, helping people and encouraging others to live healthy and fulfilling lives. She’s a life coach and has an upcoming course about figuring out who you are as an individual and making life choices based on that. I’m excited for it to be released!
Today Addie shares with us some great tips on getting rid of overwhelm and stress when it comes to your schedule. Determining the difference between the have to dos, should dos and then want to dos. She also shares a thought process of how she determines what commitments she adds to her plate, because those choices don’t just impact her; but also her farmer husband and four kids.
Thank you Addie for sharing with us today and if you want to find more of her or to sign up for her newsletter you can go to @addie.yoder on IG or her website addieyoder.com
* If I say yes to this, how will this impact my spouse/family
* Is my spouse/family in a position to pick up the slack if I add this to my plate/schedule.
* Who is actually doing the work if I say yes
* How is this going to impact my attitude
* Is it something I want to do and if it’s something I have to do, is there an alternate route.
