I apologize for the choppy recording and the long pause I didn’t realize id left a chunk of silence between the recordings I will eventually learn how to edit.)I absolutely loved recording this episode with Laura, she has definitely paved her own path and I am inspired by her story and the career she’s built for herself, I aspire to someday achieve her level of success in a career built around my passions and areas of interest just as she’s done with her practice. I hope this episode is as thought provoking and inspiring for those listening as it was for us recording it. I meant to bring this up before but since it’s a little late I’ll hope people read descriptions. I know not everyone is as open to learning about the occult or anything to do with paganism really, that being said i want to say I am not necessarily apart of any practice or religion since its closest to mysticism which belongs to all and none. Overall I love learning about beliefs in any context wether it be from someone of a particular religion or reading a book/article about it, it has opened my mind to all kinds of revelations about humanity in general or just within myself all being positive, neutral or healthy in some way which is one reason why I insist even the most devout believers, skeptics, atheists and anyone else look into origins, symbolism, beliefs, etc if they have the attention for it anyway. You’d be surprised where many of these modern practices came from and just how much “paganism” or “the occult” is interwoven into not just our everyday lives but in all kinds of traditions within many cultures. Once you read enough you start seeing all the connections it’s hard not to see things about the world and humanity that prove how unfathomable and divine the universe is. My point put simply is that knowledge is power so don’t be quick to dismiss. As for those who think learning about things you were taught were wrong or taboo could cause your faith to waver or crumble entirely it’s more likely that the foundation you had in your faith to begin with wasn’t built to withstand. Regardless of your beliefs my content is for anyone willing to listen, I want anyone who does to be moved, intrigued, inspired, or at the very least be mildly amused. I hope to have people from many different faiths come on for a colab at some point to share and discuss the human condition through their eyes. I love learning all the ways humanity attempts to connect with the divine I hope anyone who tunes in feels connected and can share in experiences or feelings with me and those amazing people who join me in the discussion like Laura did with today’s episode!
