A more-than-worthy sequel
I loved the first book in this series, and this is a more-than-worthy sequel. We follow Marc and Jessie on a roller coaster ride into the world of digital crime and currency. There's lots of stuff to learn, but that doesn't get in the way of a gripping story with two smokin' hot MCs. Don't miss it!
Sex and education
An adventure imparting knowledge and Eros. Fun interwoven with suspense and intrigue. Well written and executed. Trust is building amongst the crew.
A modern day TREASURE HUNT with a TWIST!
Hand down, this is my favorite Brad Vance novel, but you're going to want to read Book 1 in the series (Would I Lie to You) first to really appreciate it. What's not to LOVE about this book? Marc and Jesse are two sexy techno pirates in search of the fabled "Bitcoin Hoard" worth hundreds of millions. They must find the treasure before the forces of evil, and their personal nemeses, beat them to it. Travelling the world to exciting locales, the intrepid duo face life-threatening challenges on their quest. Along the way they also discover deeper, more intense feelings for one another, and each must face the risk of revealing another hidden layer of his soul to his lover.
Fear not: you don't have to understand a thing about Bitcoins and global monetary funds to enjoy this adventure. Brad Vance keeps it all simple and straightforward, at the same time teaching us a thing or two about the brave new world we live in - and perhaps some of its ugly underbelly.
But it's not all about the big hunt. The greatest treasure in this story in the developing relationship between our two protagonists. Marc's submissive nature in the bedroom is showcased here, as well as his incredible ingenuity for making sex with Jesse a new challenge each and every time. Jesse's hard outer shell begins to crack in this book, and we catch glimpses of the real man inside. Brad writes this kind of relationship very, very well.
