The Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education (CAS) was founded 40 years ago in 1979. The organization now is much different than what it was when it originated. This year CAS will be publishing the 10th edition of the CAS Professional Standards for Higher Education as well as a number of new resources.

On this episode of Student Affairs Live, host Keith Edwards speaks with CAS President Gavin Henning, and two past-presidents Susan R. Komives and Laura Dean. This episode will discuss the origins of CAS, its evolution as an association, and how it currently serves higher education.
