Pastor Brent brought us a message about Peter. He told us how Jesus called Peter and Peter followed him. When Jesus asked “who do you say I am?” Peter was certain and replied “You are the Messiah sent from God!” Peter was courageous and committed to Jesus. But Peter also found himself confused and cursing Jesus and ultimately throwing in the towel. Pastor Brent reminded us all that sometimes we have it, we lose it and we get it back again which is exactly what Peter does. Peter is confronted by Jesus and recommits.
