Vicki Acquah better known as our Mama Oladeji thinks she is coming onto this special show for an impromptu broadcast of Reverse - a night of classic poetry reading.

IN REALITY, Carlos, (Writteninpain) and I (Nyla Alisia) are hosting a SURPRISE MOTHERS DAY SHOW to honor her!

We all call Miss Vickie "MAMA" for a reason! Her beautiful heart she shares with us all so openly, the care she goes out of the way to offer, the support she hands out like candy, the truest of love she envelopes us all in, the way she believes in all of us, they wisdom she shares not only through her poetry but through all her interactions, the way she praises us, encourages us, shares us with each other! The way her love really binds us together as a family, the way mothers do!

Everything she does, and has done personally for me, including ....taking 10 minutes in the middle of a poetry show to explain how honey and tea will help my cold, and that I need to take better care of myself, to scolding me on air when I talk to long, for using the word awesome too often, or flirt too much with her boy, EVEN putting me in the corner when I pick on Andrew Scott! and especially the way she reaches out to me personally, with long talks and advice for my life, and the secrets kept safe, that you can only share with your mom, because you know that is the one place you will always be safe, where you will always be loved.

Writteninpain I am sure has a list just like this!

WE ALL have stories about how mama has touched our life. Everything she does, she does with love, and we think that deserves to be celebrated! She needs to know how much she is appreciated!

If you cannot make it to the show, you can record a message and email it to me at [email protected] or you can message it to either myself or Carlos (Writteninpain) and we will read it on the air!
