Mike Styles returns to the hosting chair for the first show of the year. He joins us with a guest set and interview with Tab Jones. Born Sam Berlin, Tab is a hip-hop producer and DJ from New Jersey who grew up in the underground club scene of NYC. In recent years he has produced projects with the likes of Pootie, Brainorchestra, and Dälek. Most recently he teamed up with Chilean producer Obrigxdo to produce a four song EP entitled, ‘VIVID’. These projects have received worldwide attention, being featured on official Spotify playlists and catching spins on Worldwide FM in Korea. He’s also kept up with a steady stream of DJ gigs in NYC and Seoul.
‘Music Is My Weapon, My Weapon Is Love’ is the new album from Tab, a 5 song hip-hop project due out January 30th on Raw Force Records. Tab produced the entire album sampling exclusively from 80’s and 90’s r&b records.
