More than ever it’s exciting to think about what the new year will bring. For many of us there’s no way 2021 won’t be better than 2020! But that doesn’t mean we can coast into January clutching a plate of holiday cookies, dragging last year’s emotional baggage behind us.

Becoming a happier, healthier, goal-getting version of yourself isn’t going to just happen. Setting the same old New Year’s resolutions won’t do it either. You need more than the wish & willpower to make 2021 the best year of your life.

Instead, commit to what I call ‘PreSolutions.’ Making PreSolutions includes the values & beliefs you’ll need to reach your goals. It starts with a few quality questions to ask yourself like, what are you prioritizing over your health or relationships?

With a strong foundation of PreSolutions it’s easy to avoid self-sabotage & stay focused. Daily visualization, affirmations, or making a vision board are helpful in keeping us motivated. I have some tips on how to maximize those tools.
