Bryan Fischer here with the Life and Liberty Minute. Justice is color-blind. It does not care about color, it cares only about conduct. The issue is whether George Floyd’s conduct violated the law by passing counterfeit currency and resisting arrest, and whether Officer Chauvin violated the law in restraining him according to police department policy. But Congressman Maxine Waters prematurely declared Chauvin guilty and called for a Civil War if the jury doesn’t give her the verdict she demands. She said, “We’ve got to stay on the street...we’ve got to get more confrontational. I hope we’re going to get a verdict that will say guilty, guilty, guilty. And if we don’t, we cannot go away.” But street justice is not justice. It is vigilantism, unworthy of a great and just nation. We all want justice done. Maxine Waters just about made that almost impossible.
